Yesenia is incredible. I have never had my makeup or hair done professionally and hired her for my San Diego beach elopement. She did the trial and went out of her way to make me feel and see myself in a way I never have. She has the most calming personality and I immediately felt like we had been friends for years. Her work is fantastic. She listened to my wishes and concerns and was so gentle when doing my hair and makeup. On the day of the wedding she did even better than the trial. I cannot say enough good things but that she is a beautiful soul inside and out. Recommend to anyone looking for any beauty care.

Yessenia & the other artist that came with her created such amazing hair and makeup for my wedding day! Her communication from the trial leading up to the big day was great, & she was really flexible/collaborative with little tweaks I had in mind to my styling.

My friends & family who were styled had nothing but sweet, wonderful things to say about both of them. I appreciate them taking such good care of us all, & they made us feel beautiful. Everyone's hair and makeup were still gorgeous and pretty intact by the end of the night. I love looking back at our photos just gushing about how amazing everyone looked and remembering how great they felt.

It was a pleasure to have Yessenia with me on my wedding day! My makeup, as well as all the bridesmaids makeup, was so beautiful! She gave us a flawless finish without the heavy makeup look. And her products are great! The wedding was outside in the Costa Rican rainforest (hot and humid) but somehow our makeup was still perfect after hours of dancing in the heat. She successfully did a variety of looks, some girls wanted dark smokey eyes and others wanted a more natural look. All of them were beautiful. She also did several hairstyles from beachy waves, loose/messy updos, and sleek braids. Everyone was so happy with their hair (which also sustained the weather perfectly). I could go on for hours about how awesome the hair and makeup were but there are a few other things that were also important to me as a bride... First, she was flexible, laid back, and easy to work with even during all the craziness of planning a destination wedding during the pandemic. Second, she was always very quick to respond to emails and texts. She was timely, professional, sweet, and an incredibly hard worker (pretty sure she didn't take lunch until 4pm after everyone was ready). I also did a trash the dress shoot the day after the wedding and she was so flexible with when we would start getting ready based on how late I was up the night before. All around she was wonderful to work with and her hair and makeup were absolutely amazing.

Yessenia really worked with us even though we were last-minute customers. We kept changing the number of bridesmaids, but Yessenia was very accommodating and communicative. We even had bridesmaids that weren't scheduled ask for Yessenia to do their lashes, and she was very kind and offered to work with everyone who asked. Even though it was a hectic day, Yessenia made sure everything was on schedule. All the bridesmaids were really impressed with our hairstyles and she worked absolute magic with our updos. Yaaaassssss!! I LOVE getting my lash lift and eyebrow lamination with Yessenia. Also, being a makeup artist is more than just applying makeup, it's making the person feel and look their BEST!
